Mmmmm.... Glossy Walnuts.
Here are the 10x8 and 12x8 inch tom shells for one of our current Drum Kit projects, awaiting hardware, hoops, and quite a number of other playmates. The completed kit will consist of 9 drums in total...
8, 10 and 12 inch rack toms, two 15 and one 16 inch floor toms, 14x6 inch snare drum, a monster 22x20 inch kick drum and a 20x16 inch single headed gong tom thrown in for good measure.
The hardware for this kit is our single point 24K gold signature lug, along with all matching gold plated tom mounts, spurs and floor tom legs. There are actually three different versions of the center striping in the shell depending on the dimensions of the drum, and the thickness varies from thin up high, to almost half an inch thick for the kick drum shell.

One of the 15x12 inch floor tom shells is shown in a state of undress prior to high gloss. This is a really cool size for a drum, and I think it is going to sound great.
